Hunan Spring in Evanston

Sadly I will never go back and it's a shame because the food was really good. The server and service stinks. On two occasions with 2 different client's. She answered a request with I'll do it later. Once when asked to wipe a sticky table and the second time with vegetarians I'll explain later. Instead of say yes I will be with you in a moment. Or let me see what I can do I will be back shortly. Not everyone can or should serve.

Delightful restarant with very friendly and helpful service. I recommend the Lemon Chicken. The place is very clean sanitary and well organized. The soups are outstanding and make feel better fast especially on a cold damp winter night. The overall pricing is very fair and reasonable considering the large generous portions one receives. Attend!!!

This place is my first choice site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I feel like having a decent meal, this restaurant comes straight to my mind. very good and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.generous staff, and good vibes. Also, the expence is affordable. I suggest this spot with no hesitation.

Ive been ordering from them since they opened, serive has never bern really plesant , but tiday the shrimp egg foo young came with a dangerous inch long plastic shard. They need to be more careful

Very good Chinese take-out in my immediate pick-up area. I have had trouble finding spicy enough dishes, even when they-re marked as spicy and I request very spicy. The king pao flavor and spice level was great. The sesame chicken not as spicy despite the request - but still tasty. Hot n sour soup was good, as was the pork fried rice. Appropriate portions for the price. Best I've found around here. Worth a try!!!

We had an extraordinary experience at this place. We loved the fantastic vibes and the food. The staff members are super affable. I’m happy we finally managed to visit this spot.

Been going here since I was a toddler. Still my absolute favorite Chinese in the area! Love their general tso chicken, stringbean chicken, and their hot and sour soup.

We enjoy eating out. Yesterday we arrived in this magnificent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely time there with fine food and an experienced stuff and an impressive chief cook. We added this venue in our phone list and we shall definitely visit again soon. We deeply recommend.

This is probably the best Chinese/Thai fast-food restaurant in Evanston. The portions are big and the food is good all-around. They are priced a little higher so a meal for a family can cost $50 easy

Great food, but too much oil in the cooking of the dishes. Could better with less oil.

I would give zero if I could. This place has the worse American Chinese food I ever tasted and I'm Chinese. I had better American Chinese food at panda express than here. Just stay away from this place, don't even bother to try.

I was there to only pick up an order. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The food was okay but not as fresh as when we have it delivered.

If you want good Chinese food that's inexpensive, this is the place for you. We eat here about once a week are never disappointed. The cashew chicken is a revelation, but there are a lot of other good meals there, also.The service is fine and friendly (albeit a bit slow). The food comes out FAST. Overall, fine place with yummy food!

I go to this unique restaurant once a month since I like the ambiance that is outline this place. The personel is exceptionally friendly and skilfull. The service is absolutely rapid. Not to mention, the food you eat is magnificent. I frequent many times and I was always joyful. The price is honest. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends.
